Farm Toy Show - January
Dozens of vendors and hundreds of farm toy enthusiasts gather each year at the Saline County Fair Grounds. 660-886-9908

Spring Fling on the Square - Third Saturday in May
On the Square in Downtown Marshall - Local nurseries, florists, plantgrowers and businesses that deal with lawn care & lawn ornaments/decorations show and sell their products. The Saline County Master Gardeners give hands-on demonstrations. 660-886-3324

Bear Creek Blues Festival - June
Annual blues festival featuring five music performers & bands, food and beverage, concessions, great music and fun! The little town with the BIG sound. Event Cost: Adult advance $15, Gate $20. 5-12 $6, 4 & under FREE. Slater City Park Football Field. 660-529-2212

Annual Independence Day Fireworks - Prior to 4th of July

The City of Marshall annual firework display begins at dusk at Indian Foothills Park.

Saline County Fair - Mid-July
County Fair featuring 4-H and FFA exhibitions and livestock demonstrations. Spectator events include demolition derby, talent show, truck jump, garden tractor pull, flea market. Hwy 65. 660-886-2233

Santa Fe Trail Days - Second Weekend in September
On the Square in Downtown Marshall - Annual Festival includes Craft Show/Flea Market, food vendors, Chuckwagon Dinner, parade, Gospel Sing, Horseshoe Tournament. 660-886-3324

Country Patchwork Quilt Guild's Annual Show
Last Weekend in September. Featured exhibit will be The Quilts and Quilters of Gee's Bend, Alabama. Silent Auction, vendors, quilt raffle, quilts for sale. Almost 100 quilts on display. Pennytown Reunion First Sunday in August
Descendants and friends unite annually to learn about the
history of Penny-town Community, to share a meal and participate in a prayer service. 660-886-8418

Missouri State Cornhusking - September/October
Heritage art of husking corn by hand - based on time and volume weight of corn husked. Horse drawn wagons partner with participants of various ages for this unique sporting competition. Flea/Craft Market, pie contest, parade, & petting zoo add to the excitement. Hwy 65. 660-886-2233

Arrow Rock Heritage Festival - Second Weekend in October

Houston E. Mull FFA Memorial Scholarship Cattle Drive
First Weekend in November

Enjoy an old fashioned cattle drive. Breakfast starting off, picnic style lunch and steak dinner first evening with a campfire and other entertainment. All proceeds go towards FFA Scholarships.
